In an hypothetical space journey, who might arrive is not the father, such one might die soon at start of the trip, neither the son such one might die on the first quarter of the trip, nor the third generation, probably the fourth after all he/she is not head of anyone, and such thing can lead to something real bad, he/she probably finish the trip alone in space in the hope to find someone.
